The Wild Roots Guide

Come home to yourself
and the more than human world

This is a place to land

Before everything had to be faster and better and productive, we knew how to listen.

We knew how to tell the time by the way light rested on the ground.
By the moment leaves let go and the first dandelions appeared.

The wise part of us knows this: we are tired because we’ve forgotten the pace of living things.
Nothing here needs fixing. The invitation is simply to sit.

To sit long enough to hear birds quarrel and make up again.
To watch water keep moving without effort.
To notice how breath finds its own way.

The old wisdom reminds us: we are not separate from this. We are part of the same living web.
The same rhythm that knows when to grow, when to rest, when to fall.

We don’t need to become someone else.
We need somewhere we can land.

This is that place.

Meet Sanne

Hi, I’m Sanne.

I believe the living world is one interconnected web, and that we are not separate from it. We belong here.

Much of what we call “failure, burnout or overwhelm” today is actually disconnection: from the body, from land and rhythm and from a felt sense of belonging

I create slow, grounded spaces where people come back into relationship with themselves, others, and the living world.

My work weaves together:
nature connection
nervous system awareness
somatic intelligence
lived human experience
scientific understanding

This work isn’t about becoming something new. It’s about remembering who you already are.

Here your body is allowed to rest and lead

Come as you are. Stay as long as you need. Return whenever life has been asking too much.

Sanne show´s you the ancient knowledge of the earth and everything it can give us and how we can open ourselves to this ancient soul wisdom. Sanne´s greatest strength is her emphasis on the wisdom around us and within us, she does not put herself on a pedestal, but she encourages you to find your own connection with earth, your path and direction.

Nienke Catherina Thurlings | Stress expert & Psychologist

There are a lot of things that are falling into place after our session. I feel more calm and have got a lot of clarity. I tried to explain to people what happens during the session, but a lot of it is more on the energetic realm and is hard to put to words. I've experienced it as coming home. Returning to, or remembering, my own unique self. The session put a lot of things in motion for me and I'm so grateful for this! Thank you.

In full disclosure: Nienke was able to experience this because she was open to explore what came up during the session, and on the work she has been doing on her self prior, during and after the session.
